Wide oak boards (between 290 and 340mm wide) with attractive grain patterns are specially selected for hand finishing. The board’s surface is treated by hand to retain the natural contours that arise from the seasoning process. The result is flooring with an opulent and highly distinctive, traditional look. These boards produce a ‘time-worn’ floor effect, with the slightly uneven surface that we commonly associate with older properties.
